"I suppose at heart, I am a storyteller.

To capture that beautiful moment in the golden hour as the light falls through the trees, the joy or wonder on a child’s face or the overcast splendor of a rainy day. The beauty in life that surrounds us every day, even in the painful moments. Life is hard. Art is beauty speaking over the pain, drowning it out.

God has granted me a unique insight and grand talent… spread over so many different areas. With a degree in Technical Theatre, Art and Dance, I find myself always drawn to the creative side of life. It has led me into photo retouch, murals, floral design, retail design and display and finally I came into the world of fine art. Together with my late husband, Art Blevins, we created “Fire’s Out” at the Jim Burk Firefighters Memorial and other life size bronze memorials in the North Texas region. After his death, I was on my own for the Colonel Bea Marin statue in front of the School of Nursing at Tarleton University. I currently have work across the United States and into South Africa and Bulgaria.

I’ve been honored to have been awarded a place in the National Sculpture Society’s 2018 Annual Exhibition as well as many award winners for painting and sculpture at the Old Post Office Museum & Art Center in Graham, Texas, Gainesville Fine Art Association, Lake Granbury Art Assoc, and various online Competitions."
